I wouldn’t consider a transparent toaster the next best thing to sliced bread, but it’s pretty damn close. There’s nothing worse than getting burnt toast. The invention uses transparent heating glasses to heat the bread. I don’t suggest running out to Wal-Mart looking for one just yet. Watching the current unit [...]
Not everyday where you get to see something that highly resembles a human’s face on the back of a spider. The rare light green araneid’s stripes form a likeness of a human face. This guy must have lived a crappy previous life having to reincarnate on the back of a spider.
A collection of Star Wars collection consisting of 400 action figures and 50 vehicles is huge by any standards. I can’t imagine how much this set would sell for if an interested collector were interested in buying it. Is it even possible to put a price on 28 years of memories?
JVC has announced the GY-HD250U, an affordable studio-level camera. Of course, it can’t be classified as a studio camera unless it features HD technology, and luckily it does. The unique thing is that the camera offers functionality in both High Definition and Standard Definition, so users who are used to SD won’t have a hard [...]
Big congrats to Justin and the very sexy Julie (shhh don’t tell my wife) at Helio for a successful launch of Helio. I had chance to meet with these fine folks during CTIA 2006 for a briefing about Helio. Helio is a cool network with extra goodies not offered by other carriers.
On principle alone, Anna doesn’t deserve half of Marshall’s $1.6 billion. It’s simple; I just don’t want her to have all that money. Some might say she deserve the money because she gave up 2 ½ years courting the dude and then spent another 14-months married to the old geezer. Bah! It [...]
Hell freaking yes! It’s worth noting that this price tag doesn’t even include the optional add-ons such as an extended-life battery or a travel case with a built-in keyboard. In my opinion, UMPCs cost nearly as much as a tablet pc and it’s not that portable when you have to lug around all [...]
Steve Jobs, CEO of the ever popular Apple, seems to be filled with confidence as his company heads in to the future. In fact, Jobs is so excited about Apple’s success, that even HE couldn’t keep a completely secretive attitude during a recent shareholder’s meeting. During the meeting, Jobs revealed a few directions in which Apple may be headed. While nothing in terms of specific products was revealed, Jobs’ comments will get any reader quite a bit hyped towards the future.
Concept cars are one of many highlights during an auto show and there is a good reason for that. First of all concept cars feature stuff that we would only dream of, and second they look freaking cool. Take Nissan’s Pivo for instance, and the features it includes. Well two countries which at one point were rather hostile against each other decided to bury the hatchet and design a concept car that in my opinion is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m talking here about Germany’s GERG and Russia’s Russo-Balt car companies which are rather popular in what they do.

The Sony Reader, which we examined last week, is quite an amazing little device. Using a screen that requires very little battery power to operate, the Reader can display 7,500 page turns per charge, and doesn’t require a backlight in order to illuminate the screen. How is this possible? It’s actually quite simple; it’s all thanks to a little technology called electronic ink (also known as electronic paper).
