Ethen and I decided to get tv.io since it was available. First of all, what in the world is dot io? I had no clue; I didn’t care since the the domain name was only two letters and more importantly, it was “tv” dot io. We’ve been actively searching for a cool, short and catchy domain name for our new website featuring videos produced by Aradius Media Network. I’d have to say that tv.io is definitely up there with our other top choices such as iSeeVideo.com and R3TV.com.
The .IO Domain Name is the ISO-3166 code for the British Indian Ocean Territory. It was founded in 1997, the .IO domain registry is directed by its parent company, the Internet Computer Bureau PLC (ICB).
Alright, there you have it… tv.io may be the next del.icio.us or flickr.
