Hell freaking yes! It’s worth noting that this price tag doesn’t even include the optional add-ons such as an extended-life battery or a travel case with a built-in keyboard. In my opinion, UMPCs cost nearly as much as a tablet pc and it’s not that portable when you have to lug around all the accessories. I’m a sucker for new gadgets but not stupid enough to buy the first generation of the UMPC! Vincent’s advice for the day – save your hard earned money.

If you have gobbles of cash lying around, run to Best Buy on May 7th and get yourself a Q1. Enjoy it, love it, cherish it…it’ll be the most expensive and over hyped piece of junk for a gadget you’ll ever buy.

P.S. Knock the price down four or five Benjamins and I’ll change my mind(maybe).
